A web page is one thing. A web site that displays web pages is something different.
There are many ways to create web pages. The simplest is to make a page in Microsoft Word, select 'Save As," set the file type as HTML and save it.
A web site requires that you have an arrangement with a web hosting company. Once you are set up, they give you a password and you upload the HTML pages to the site. If you have more than one page, you need an index page which will be the first page loaded. The index page would have links (short for hyperlink)on the page that are used to call up the other pages. Those pages can have more links to even more pages. You can also place email links that allow the user to click to send mail back to you.
If you use Microsoft Word to create your pages, to set a link, click on the page where you want the link, then 'Insert" on the menu bar, Hyperlink at the bottom and fill out the applet.
