I have Vista and Office 2007. Whenever I receive an attachment in a compressed zip folder, I am unable to open it. Why? and is there a way that I can?

Why can't I open an attachment that is a compressed zip folder?
you have to unzip the file. if memory serves, right click on it and and a menu should come up, click on unzip or something that is similar to that, then the file should be decompressed so that you can view the file.
