How much of your lung capasity is restored when you quit smoking

none, the damage done by smoking permenantly destroys the microscopic sacs in your lungs that absorb oxygen. However, by quitting smoking, the tar/resiny buildup on your lungs will begin to vanish, and this will restore some of your lung capacity.
