How to fix my videos or pictures or even the display itself always shows negative image how do I fix

even when I first turn it on now the screen is different
i run xp and dont know how it got like this but when its on oringinal settings I can barely see anything any pic or vid displays in a negative? and I cant us ctrl cmd option 8 or whatever because I dont have a mac I have an hp please help
