Will my dog be traumatized if he witnessed a suicide?

My dog (A chihuahua / terrier mix.) is staying with a friend while I am in the hospital. The son of this friend stuck a gun in his mouth and tried to commit suicide recently. He failed originally and was kept alive long enough to have his organs harvested.
I haven't seen my dog, Pero, yet but worry how he may have been affected by what he saw.

Chihuahuas are actually quite sensitive dogs and have a great deal of ability to emphathize with people. He will sense a feeling of sadness and loss in the household. Best present the dog with cheerful activities and a sense of closeness during this troubling time.

chihuahuas are pretty dumb dogs no offenense so there is the possibility he will soon forget but to be on the safe side i'd be verhy affectionate to the dog and not allow him to hear loud noises for awhile
