When I open hot mail and open an email it shuts down my internet session and I can't read my email.

Why does my internet close when I open an email on how mail?
Sounds like your browser's either out of date (and crashing due to an incompatibility) or you have a virus. Try downloading the latest version of whatever web browser you're using, and run a virus scan.
