I have problem with my outlook getting duplicate mail from some email ID .How to prevent?

I am getting duplicate mail in my outlook I am using our own mail server have configured two Id in my PC from some days I am getting duplicate mail a copy of original every time deleting manually so want to know Is there any way to prevent those permanently to fix this issue

Check your settings in the email you are importing to Outlook. If you're using Gmail check "Settings", "Forwarding and POP/IMAP", and "Disable forwarding". The problem may be that you are forwarding everything from one place and then importing it at Outlook too so it gets sent twice.
