Did adam tell eve about the tree of knowledge of good and evil
No he didn't God told them both about it and how they should not go near or take any fruit from it. The serpent was the one that had provoked Eve to take the fruit causing further sin and pain to be upon us. You can find all this out at the beginning of the bible in Genenis the first three chapters I believe. =) It's very wonderful that you wanna know these things by the way!
