Is it wrong not to go to the pastors parent's funeral

i never met the pastor's dad and this pastor actually does not like me but I did send a sympathy card tot he entire family.
actually I am not big on funers and reserve my presents to those I personal know well and loved...i am sorry if this sounds selfish. of course I always send a meaningful note or card to give to the entire family of a church member but I can 't spend my time attending every funeral and coming in pretending I know the family and the deceased so well when I never even met the person.

I think it's okay, that's just my personal opinion though.
