Where did this icon come from and is it used for hacking?

I have an icon on my desktop from Chrome that is indexing my C Drive. In properties, it says it came from another computer. I had noticed that a mobile device has been in my email account... it this used for hacking my computer?

When you say indexing, do you mean scanning? You might be infected with malware or what some people call a rogue program. Download Malwarebytes from this link http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html. Install it and when it starts, make sure that you check for updates. Once it's finished updating, run a quick scan for infections. If you have any sort of malware on your pc, Malwarebytes will eliminate it. Message me if you need further assistance.
