Don't be scared. What's there to be afraid of? I mean really, what's the worst that can happen? She'll say no if she's not interested, so then just open up to her a bit more, become better friends, and ask again some other time, it's really no big deal.

just be nice and be yourself. seriously, the worst thing that could happen is that she says no. and IF she says no, dont ask again. me being a girl we do get annoyed of this. but you know, some dont. JUST ASK HER OUT! (:
