Computer Acer Aspire won't recognize camera memory card

When card is inserted into the specified slot on our Acer Aspire desktop.Nothing will happen the lite comes on but no pictures are being uploaded to the computer.The memory card slot has never been used since computer was bought.i need help.

When you insert the sd card it doesnt automatically upload the files to your computer. You have to go to the office button on the right in the middle there should be text that says "Computer" click on it, then whatever drive is assigned to the sd card, there should be a thing on "computer" that says SD Card just double click on the icon and copy the pictures to the computer.
