Why do I lose power everytime I turn A/C on? It works fine for about 1 hour

I have to go outside to flip the power switch on.cause my ac keeps tripping it why is it doing that? And would it cost me a lot to fix? I never have other things running like dryer or washer but I gave a tune up to ac about 7 months ago; it never had this problem before I'm concern.

Sounds like a short circuit. It won't cost a lot to fix, basically, two wires are touching that shouldn't be touching. It's a very easy fix, but you shouldn't attempt to do it yourself if you don't know what you're doing as electricity is dangerous and you could hurt yourself.

Its possible that the breaker is bad especially after tune up. breakers for circuit wear out and need replacement. the cost is any where from 10.00 to 50.00 depending on the type you have and amperage. If a short circuit condition exists it would make a loud bang and shut off.
