We had never talked b4 and my friend (guy) asks for my number so he can text me his wii code anyways...she comes up takes my friends phone out of his hand and puts my # in her phone. She tries to text me and I dont have text so I dont even know. She asks how come u dont reply to ur textts? dont have it. oh. talk for a bit. a week later new phone 10:30 at night I text her. HIIIIII hows it goin? we talk till she goes to bed. We text almost everyday till nightish, one day she mentions coming over to shoot hoops with me cuz I mentioned I like basketball I say hahaha and make a joke or walk around the answer cuz im not sure bout her. She starts asking me to walk with her to her car so she dont have to walk alone. She goes out of her way to talk to me like walking through pouring rain to catch up to me. She mentions gettin together sometime again I say maybe lol. We talk hang out alot shes always talkin hittin me jokin around talked to one of her friends bout me. She asks once more by this time it had been about 4-5 months n I got to know her pretty well so I say sure. and she responds Wait?! Really?! im like ya sure. She says wait how am I gonna get there I say I could pick u up She says or or or I could walk home with u one friday n im like no no parents home at that time she says oh ya I couldnt then :P so we continue to talk for a long while about what to do n when we gonna do it so we decide on next saturday. the next friday we are having a conversation on youtube and music just random crap and out of nowhere she asks How come u dont have a girlfriend?Or do you? I wait a bit like a minute or 2. and I say I dont. She asks do u like someone? I say yes. she waits a few minutes and finally asks who? I say u sure u wanna know? She says yes. I say I like u. and she says "gotcha" and I ask if she reciprocated those feelings she says haha...idk I dont really want a bf...idk y haha so we just talk like normal after that. She slowly starts changing talking less but when we do talk she talks she still jokes around with me but its different than b4 n there always seems to be something in the way of gettin together like we initially planned. She says nothings changed but it definitely has she always use to chase after me to walk n talk now she just walks on by. I ask her one day whats up? why u been actin different? she says I havent says something about her beiing busy lately thats all but b4 she was busy n would always get mad cuz I kept texting her so she would have to quit what she was doing to text back. and after I asked why she been acting dif? and went thru that she asks Why do u like me?its weird when someone likes me so I tell her shes smart ez to get along with fun funny pretty open minded different and I ask why u think its weird? she says cuz im not pretty and im...idk...just not that type of girl referring to her being the pretty type that people like. and I say thats what I like most about u is ur different than all the others. me being the retard I am im like well I would like to stay friends regardless cuz I think she doesnt reciprocate my feelings and shes like Yea I guess... my question is is anything still there? Was something there I thougt it was pretty obvious she liked me but then right before first date it changes. what do u think is up? should I back off and wait? or should I be assertive and find out what is really up?
