How can I get my phone to read a 16 GB Micro SD

I have a Samsung F-700 and it has no problem reading and utilizing files on the current micro sd. At first when I'd insert the 16g card it would not even load. After formatting I finally got the files on the 16g to show but when I try to, for example, play a song or video it claims the files either "Do not exist" or are incorrect format. I've tried testing the 16gb on other computers and phones and it seemed to work just fine. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that the Samsung F-700 can only properly use Micro SD and not Micro SDHC (the HC stands for high capacity, which is any Micro SD that's higher than like 6 or 8 gigs) If you look really closely, you'll see that the 16 gig one says "Micro SDHC" on it. I could be wrong, but that is the case with most devices.
