Can my mortgage company take my personal belongings from me?

I am just wondering because my mortgage company adv we were 70 days behind on the mortgage and on day 89 they will come and take all of our personal property... Are they just trying to get there money? Is there any truth to what they are telling me?

They are trying to scare you. They can't take what belongs to you!!!, but they can take the house. Call them and tell them the sitituation why you haven't paid them and they will work with you. But they can't take your stuff. It is not worth anything to them nor will they get any money out of it.
