My landlord is in Florida and his son was supposed to take care of the basement when it rained because it floods bad. He works all day and I have alot of property stored in the basement so I cleared the water out. The son just dropped off a wet/dry vac and a small pump but couldn't come back until after 3 in the afternoon (which I had to call him). I am on section 8 and my share of the rent is $300. which I want to charge him for taking care of that. The house is corroded with mold and I have COPD and severe emphysema but if I didn't do it the water would've filled up abt 2 feet and it had to be done. I also lost alot of property from another storm and the landlord didn't come to take care of it until that night and my stuff got ruined and had to be thrown out.
