Is it safe to eat raw eggs while pregnant?

I read on a website you aren't suppose to because of the exposure to salmonella.

renee12 is correct, you should not eat raw eggs because you can get salmonella, it doesn't matter if you're pregnant or not. Eggs don't need to be cooked for very long though, if you cook an egg but it's still runny, you'll be okay. If you like raw eggs, I suggest you try soft-boiled eggs. It's close to raw, but safe.
