How do you get bubble gum off a dog's foot?

My dog accidently stepped in gum at the park and it is huge, hard, and won't come off. Please help!

Peanut Butter or any form of oil or dishwasher detergent will help dissolve it.

You can also use an ice cube in a bag or cloth to harden it and then pick it off - your pooch probably won't like that one too much though.
