How is serological test an evidence for organic evolution?

I have studied that the precipitation tests in serology, can show how closely or distantly two organisms are related and it depends on the concentration with which precipitate is obtained. In one books I read, if the concentration is low, the organisms are closely related, and in the other, the contrast was given. I just want to know which of them is correct.
