How can I tell if someone likes me but that person doesnt have any classes with me?

I like this guy and he is so cute and funny! he is in my gym class and sits 1 down from me. Sometimes we get along and he makes me laugh and he laughs too. We make jokes but he also acts wierd sometimes. today I was talking to my guy friend and he was standing n front of us. He looked like he was lstening and so I asked him are you listening to our convo. . He nods kind of like he was saying ' you guys talk about wierd stuff ' but we were talking about this tournament over the weekend. to me he looked jealous or dissapointed. I hope he doesnt think that I am going ou with my friend. I also see him look at me sometimes and turns away quickly. What do I do?

tell him you like him and not the other guy
