file in your state and you will need to know he address and where he works and then file for child support. The courts will do the rest. You don't need a attorney either to do this. They will take what you make and what he makes and they have a formula they go by and they will take it directly out of his pay check. Good luck..

Did you move to Canada or did he? If he did then you are talking about claiming child support inter-country. The US child support agency would likely not be able to take his money as it will be outside their jurisdiction. You may want to take legal advise.
