A hot tank will quickly heat water only in small amounts. Usually not enough to take showers. A hot water heater will heat 30 to 40 gallons of water, plenty enough to bathe 2 or 3 times

hi....Some mobile homes use as much hot water as a large stick-built house. These homes are more convenient when they have an 80 gallon storage tank, so hot water is available for longer periods of time. Choosing the right 80 gallon water heater for a mobile home takes research and planning. For smaller mobile homes, installation of the 80 gallon water heater may require a reconfiguration of the existing space to accommodate the larger tank.
