Hotwire identifies hotels by amenities, zones and star levels, but they do not disclose their names...

Is there an easy way to discover these names and see if their offers are actually good?

You could try using www.iBidlow.com which have Hotwire hotel lists and compare it with the live market prices and Priceline available deals.

There are also few user forums but I am not sure how easy it is to browse through their data.
