What's wrong with it? Why does it currently not run? If you don't know, then what happens when you try to run it?

get a can of ether or starting fluid. spray it in the intake for 3 seconds. get in the truck and let the glow plugs warm up and start it.

so many possibilities...is the check engine light on? this perticular engine has a history of the dumpgate sticking closed and this can prevent engine from starting or make it real low on power.
