What does the law require if you find a gun?

A gun was found in a hotel room left behind by a guest. Do you give it back to the guest or turn it over to the police?

Report it to the authorities. If the person owns the gun legally, they will get it back with no problems. If they own it illegally, they'll get the jail time they deserve.
