If all citizens were required to serve 2 years in the military, would our citizens be more patriotic

No. Forcing someone to do something will not change their opinions on a subject. If I were forced into the military for two years, it wouldn't make me more patriotic, just angry at my government. I would probably move to Canada or New Zealand even. So basically, I think it would make everyone less patriotic because they would be pissed at the country for being forced into something they don't want to do.
