Hooking up new sound bar,w/wofer

I have a sony bravia tv hd,DVD,CHARTER HD BOX,ALL CONNECTED,I purchased a Sony bravia sound bar,with wofer.best buy sold me cables to hook up the system,the wofer connects to the sound bar,also a power cord,thats easy,but how do you hook up the cables from the wofer to the audio out on the tv,I can't seem to get to work,where does it go from the wofer thru,maybe the charter box,or the dvd,which route,I need a diagram,the kids at Best buy,have told me diff.ways,their geek squad wants $150 to come out,sorry.
