How is the world nowadays?

Great, terrible, alright, it depends on who you ask really. Different people prioritize different things. Someone might say that things are horrible in the world now-a-days because of the earthquakes in Haiti and Chile, where as someone else would say things aren't that bad because the US economy stopped plummeting, and although it's still in the toilet, it stopped getting worse for the time being. I personally say things are alright at the moment. Not great, not terrible.
