What do I do, She likes me and she has a boyfriend? Am I too late?

I have known this sweet,smart and butiful looking girl for olmost 6 years now. We are friends. I was in karate with her for 4 of them 6 years. But I had surgery and had to leave karate for a breathing condition. I had surgery and never returned to karate. I saw her again when she became a freshman in high school. And now he has a boyfriend who lives in another town. he is 3 years older than she is and I am also 3 years older, but I love her and I never got to tell her. I finally did. she says she likes me too but she has a boyfriend. We are still friends to this day but, I want more than a frirendship with her.i love her for whats inside of her not for her nerdy looks. help me please. thanks

in order for you to have any kind of relationship with her, you have to have her respect as well as your own- you wont have either one if they break up because of you. you already told her, so let their relationship play out on its own. if she has feelings for yu like you do her, it wont take long, and you can start things out right. good luck to you .
