My laptop keep freezing up it clean no spyware or viruses

my laptop keep freezing up ever so often it tell me there is no viruses nor spyware how do I correct this problem

Try running a RegiseryFix scan, or Search and Destroy scan. Fix the problems it shows you. Also make sure your hard drive isn't running on low disk memory and you not using to much RAM. Try cutting down on how many applications your using simultaneously. How old is your computer?
