How do I know if my best friend likes me?

Okay so I've been best friends with this girl for 2 years now she is always very flirty and touchy with me, I think I'm in love with her, but I want to know if she feels the same, so how do I know if she does?

tell her there is a girl you like and you want to tell her but you are afraid of ruining your friendship and see what advice she has for you. if she says you should ask, ask her what she would do if you were talking about her. if she seems receptive, go and ask her on a date. if she doesn't, then thank her for the advice and you both can go on pretending that there is nothing between you. even though she probably knows by this point, it will be easy enough to continue the friendship as before.
