What, if anything, can be used as a substitute for canned condensed milk? Something non-dairy?

There's all sorts of soy milks and rice milks you can choose from that contain no dairy.

No problem. My mother has been lactose intolerant her whole life, that's the only way I knew, she buys the stuff by the gallon. It's kinda funny because I prefer the taste of it over regular milks anyways even though I'm not lactose intolerant myself. But anyways, now you know.

Lactaid products are still dairy, the poster asked for non-dairy. The thing about Lactaid is that they use a special enzyme to make it lactose free for people who are lactose intolerant.
