Is it just a buch of bumps on your skin? A friend of mine has this thing, it looks like a rash, it's on his upper torso, upper back, and this upper arms. His dermatologist said it's nothing to be worried of, it's just this weird thing with his pores. His parents had it when they were younger too. It goes away with time. If this is the same thing, then don't worry about it.

It could either be a heat rash which is associated with being in the sun too much and when you take a hot shower it makes it worst-try taking a cool shower-or with some medications you are not to be out in the sun-read each of your medication labels to make sure. Or it could be shingles.

I thought about heat rash, but he said it doesn't hurt, where as a heat rash generally hurts. Furthermore, a heat rash is not associated with being in the sun too much. A heat rash is caused by the pores in your skin getting clogged up and thus not being able to sweat properly. Your skin forms a rash as a way to expel the contaminate as well as purge the build up of sweat and other oils from your skin.
