What is the difference in downhill skiing and the super g in the olympics?

Is one longer or more difficult than the other?

Downhill: It’s the longest distance, with high speed, challenging turns, jumps and sliding phases.

Super G (super giant slalom): It’s a little bit slower and shorter, but technical more challenging, because of more goals with tighter distance.
