I want to build a house on piers on existing footers that are already there?

I have footers already on my property left from an old trailer. Can I use them and how would I do it?

I am a contractor, however I don't know what part of the country you live in.
You should be atleast 3-5 feet in the ground for proper footings. You want to be below the frost level. Wildman
