When that happens, you should go outside in the fresh air and just sit down for a little bit. If you're still feeling sick after a while then you have a number of options: 1) Call a doctor 2) Go to the hospital 3) Call the company of the product that made you sick 4) Call poison control. Drinking water to dilute it isn't always a good idea, you should consult either the company of the product or poison control first depending on what's in the product, because in some cases by diluting it you're just helping it spread in your system. In some cases, if it's a base, then you should drink lemonade or orange juice, etc... because you will neutralize the base. Or if it's an acid, in some cases, you should drink a base, like lemon water (I know it sounds weird, but if you read this, you'll understand: http://www.energiseforlife.com/wordpress/2006/02/10/lemon-water-alkalising-superstar/) or vegetable broth. Milk is actually not a base but every so slightly acidic (pH of 6.7). Please note though, that this is all dependent on the product in question. If you post which product it is I can provide you with more information.
