What is the "average"gap between the flywheel and coil on briggs mwr engine

what is the "average" (or specific if required) gap between the "flywheel" and the coil on a briggs and stratton lawn mower engine to create the spark so i can crank my mower.It was touching and leaving marks and no fire

use a match book, this is a old trick that works great . open the book up and slip it between the coil and fly-wheel,tighten the two screws on the coil, replace shroud and fire it up.i work on engines like this all the time. good luck.
