I believe white chocolate will melt fastest in the microwave seeing as it's the lightest chocolate, and it's not being heated by light (the light in a microwave is just so you can see, it's not the source of heat), where as dark chocolate would melt fastest in light (such as the sun) because it's darker so it absorbes more light, and thus more heat. Certain variables are involved though such as is it bakers chocolate or not, what's in the chocolate, etc... Really though you should experiment to find which one works the best for you.
