What are humans good for?

we go through so much emotions heartache and pain yet we experiance very little love happiness and joy what are we good for if we hurt each other so bad and experiance so much loss and suffering and keep setting ourselves up to fail each time then what are we good for.

The answer you seek is the meaning of life, the answerless question, "Why are we here?" Everyone has a different answer to this question, hence it being answerless, as in there's no one answer, but an infinite number of answers. This thread will probably fill up with god loving, cross kissing religious types, but just remember that religion isn't the only answer here. I'm Atheist myself, and when it comes to "Why are we here?" I say, who gives a damn? You're here, so live your life and deal with it. Trying to answer such a silly pointless question is just a huge waste of time.
