I’m a Chiropractor. Seizures are generally caused by some kind of trauma to the head or by a condition such as epilepsy or brain tumor. These are best handled by a neurologist and not a Chiropractor. You need to see a neurologist and get evaluated as soon as possible. Seizures are nothing to put off till tomorrow. If you have had a recent head injury and are experiencing seizures, go to a hospital emergency room NOW as you could be bleeding inside your skull. (Get someone to drive you; don’t drive yourself as you may get into an accident) If you have not had a recent head trauma, I would suggest contacting a competent neurologist as soon as you read this.

Chiropractic is a Neuromusculoskeletal specialty and is fantastic for conditions that fall within that purview. Seizures are not part of a Chiropractor’s scope of practice.
