How does plabne wings work?

well..im doing this for a school project..please HELP!!!

I also need to know this...how does bird wings workk?HUH?

First of all, please don't double post. You asked about bird wings elsewhere. If you're going to ask two things at once, okay, if you're going to post them separately, okay, but don't post the same question more than once. Thank you.

Now as for airplane wings, they work quite differently from bird wings. I explained how bird wings work in your other post. As for airplane wings, well the idea there is like, if you put your arm out the window while driving, and you have your hand up and down, you can feel all that force of the air against your hand, right? Well if you put your hand at an angle, you can feel your hand push up. The idea is the air resistance is displaced, more air is being pushed under your hand than over. So a plane picks up speed on the ground, and then the air displacement pushes it upwards into the air. The back part of the wings are adjusted, pointed up and down to change the altitude. I can go more in depth if you need me to.
