Hi i filed my taxes on the 17th and it was accepted on the 17th wheres my refund not updating?

Hi i filed my taxes on the 17th and it was accepted on the 17th i received an email from taxbrain stating the estimated deposit date is the 29th but when i goto wheres my refund it says You may not have entered your information correctly. Please verify your personal tax data and try again but if it is correct please enter month date and year type of file well i do that because all info is correct then it says .We are sorry, we cannot provide any information about your refund. It can take up to 3 weeks to process your return. Please wait at least one week before you log-on again to check the status of your refund. Has anyone else gotten this...

I got the same message when I tried to check mine. I filed on the 16th and it was accepted on the 18th. If you find out what's going on, let me know. Good luck to you.
I am receiving the same message! I filed on the 17th and was accepted on the 18th. Everything I have read says that alot of other people have the same problem. Some have even called the IRS and have been told not to worry that they will receive their refund on the 29th! I sure hope this is correct!!! I know I need my refund just as bad as everyone else! I hope this information helps you.

I am in the same boat (filed and accepted on 1/18) but just read on a Yahoo board that if you elected direct deposit, the IRS does not update your status on their site until the week of your deposit. The poster also noted that it's this way with the Where's My Refund tool every year. I don't know if there is any truth to it, but thought I would pass it along. My refund is due this Friday so I'll keep watching. I also read the site is updated only once nightly at like 3:30AM, so I see no need to log in multiple times each day. Hope this helps someone!
