What should I do...help me please?

Hi how r u all..
I am from Pakistan and I want to study in UK.
I hav applied to a college for a one year diploma course.
I've heard that only 20 hours work is allowed there, but i want to support my self in studying and snd some money to my home also.
so plzz tell me that is there any way to do job more than 20 hours( legally or illegally)?
and tell me about the recession, is it effecting the jobs?
What are the things that i hav to prepare my mind for.....i mean i am a girl and want to do alot as I want to support my family and i a bit religious also...so what will b the problems or challenges being there alone.
Finding a job for the first time is easy or difficult.
Looks or appearance matters there or not?
what are the jobs that pay relatively gud?
Being a girl and living there alone matters or not?

ok a first apperence allways matters being a girl and being your religion and where your from you could be descriminated against and I would advise you do the legal limit on working, and the recession has made a downfall in the economy they are only hiring people with 4 year degrees and basically you could have a degree and be working at mcdonalds also it depends what kind of work your looking for but one thing for sure allways take into account of what you like doing and have a good attitude be polite im sure that shouldent be to big of a problem for you
