How to leave your husband if you own a home?

my husband and i bought a home together about 1 year ago. things are really going sour. how do i get out of it?

That is a tough one, I had to go to the same thing and legally in the state of Virginia anyway. He has the right to come in and out as he pleases. Unless you can get him to sign and agreement to let you live in the house. My husband cheated on me and had his own apartment and I couldn't keep him out, when I called the police they told me I should leave untill I cooled off. I had no rights and I had been living there alone with my daughter for months and he just walked right back in the door and I couldn't do a thing. I don't know what state you live in but I would consult a lawyer to find out your rights every state differs. I hope this helps. Kathy
