How do you write an essay?

Simply,start with an introduction(1) ; introduce what you`re going to write about,
then the body(2); in which you write in detail,
finaly the conclusion(3)

How I approach an essay depends on the overall idea.First I write down for myself points,usually three.
1) Intro,as my friend above said.
2) The main happening points ,where all the drama,or main story telling will take place.
3)The closing,where I point out the closing argument ,or the happy ending ,where I can also express my point of view and where I close with a motto.
4)After this I sit down all heated up and energized and start to stare at the empty paper or the empty computer screen.Good luck.Otto
