The best stocks to invest in are ones that you're sure are going to go up. If you hear that Intel is coming out with their own brand of cellphone, and that it's the greatest cellphone ever made, and everyone will want one, then you should then invest in some of Intel's stocks.

I don't think you should mess with the stock market. Honestly, I don't think you have the proper know-how to utilize the stock market effectively.

And one final note, this is not a good time to be hitting the stock market. The economy is in shambles, and that directly effects the stock market. Things are going down, and you sell when they're down.
