About Cat and Kitten

Was adopted by a beautiful tortie shell kitten. She's 5 1/2 yrs old now. She was super active with play, love and lap cat. She always needed my attention. Since she got along with my daughter's lg. dog, I decide to get her a new little pal to play with. Well, I decided to get bengal tiger kitten, 8 wks old. He was super small, lovable, plays and wants to have a relationship with my Spooky. Kept them apart so they could smell each other under a door. Well, 2months later, Spooky goes totally wild and crazy when little Tiger is around. She is so spooked, runs, hides and growls and howls like a wild animal. She hardly has anything to do with me any more. I hate it, love her totally. Also, Tiger, is also super lovable with everyone. I'm hoping to find some type of medication that will relax her. Going to a Vet on Tues. to check it out. If he refuses, need to find a site for pet meds. Gonna look myself but would appreciate any advice or help with the situation.

I don't believe the situation will change. Please don't try any meds. self prescribed, it can be dangerous for the animal. You can try letting them just try and settle thier differences them selves and see if that works, if not, one will "have to go" or keep them seperated. Cats can be very territorial. Neutering and/or spaying could also be an option.
