Can I block a particular site from being accessed from my computer

my laptop is used to look at a certain porn site that i dont want to be looked at i know the address to this teen porn site can i block it from being accessed from my computer

If you only want to block several known sites, then simply launch your Notepad and open this file:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

After that, append the following text on the bottom (of course you need to replace these urls with the sites you wish to block):
127.0.0.1 www.example1.com
127.0.0.1 www.example2.com
127.0.0.1 www.example3.com

Save this file and restart your browser, then try to access those sites, you'll see the result.

But if you want to block those unknown porno sites, you'll need to download a filter software to do so, just like what Oni_Kami said.

um how do yu remove the filter if yur not the administrater for the computer
