Truck repair hesatation change gears

when i try to go through the gaers on my s10 chey truck it acts like it will not go hesatates finally if i get to 5th gear it goes on it will not go on and speed up so i can go to 2nd then 3rd 4th than 5th takes forever acts like it ant getting gas or something i put fuel injection cleaner in the gas still doing it it scares me im a single mom this ia all i have to take my kids to school so worried can you help

Sounds like typical wear and tear to the gears in your transmission. To get it replaced will take a lot of time and cost a lot of money.
